Founder & Electrical Engineer
Daz is an Electrical Engineering graduate from University College Cork in Ireland. With a strong foundation in engineering principles and a passion for sustainable energy solutions, he brings both technical expertise and environmental commitment to DazSolar.
Beyond his professional life, Daz is a keen road runner who has run in the great outdoors for decades. This lifelong connection with nature has made him a keen observer of the environment and weather patterns, insights that directly inform DazSolar's approach to solar energy analysis and environmental impact assessment.
His professional experience includes working as an engineer for a FORTUNE 500 company, where he honed his skills in large-scale engineering projects and complex problem-solving. This corporate experience, combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, drives DazSolar's mission to make solar energy analysis accessible worldwide.
Daz's global perspective comes from extensive travel in his youth, including nearly a decade living in Asia. This international experience has given him a deep understanding of diverse environmental challenges and energy needs across different regions, which he brings to the task of helping the environment through accessible solar technology.
